Google LatLong: Seeking map data in response to Pakistan floods
The Google Lat long blog which is designed to share the news and notes by Google earth and map teams have appealed to public for the geospatial data relevant to the Pakistan floods. Google’s Crisis Response team has earlier provided satellite imagery and KML layers to assist relief efforts in past disasters, including the Haiti earthquake and recent Gulf of Mexico oil spill. In Pakistan the team is not getting the clear data because of the cloud cover over the impacted areas And now the team is looking forward your support to get the data and wants to collect and aggregate imagery and user generated KML, or other map data.
